In 2017, we developed an Individualized Subject Topics Checklist for the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) which will be administer in April 2018. This tool is in response to the divergence in curriculum content between the national curriculum and the exam syllabus. This checklist include a simple self-monitoring tool for teachers to assess the extent to which students understand key topics that have been taught.
We are currently exploring an expansion strategy to trained teachers across all fifteen counties by the end of 2018/2019 school year.
